Covenant’s Sanctuary Choir will be performing Brahms’ A German Requiem on Maundy Thursday (April 17).
A German Requiem, composed by Johannes Brahms between 1865 and 1868, is a choral work that focuses on comforting the living rather than praying for the dead, using texts from the German Luther Bible.
