Worship

At Covenant Presbyterian, we celebrate our faith in weekly worship through participatory liturgy, challenging preaching, and excellent music. During the year, our traditional worship services are occasionally interspersed with other forms of worship experiences in sermons, drama, and music.

Sacrament of the Lord's Supper

We serve Communion on the first Sunday of each month. We invite all who profess faith in Christ, including baptized children, to celebrate the Lord's Supper with us. We serve Home Communion during the year to our hospitalized and homebound members.

Worship Hours

During the school year, our worship begins at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday. Child care is provided for infants through third grade. Older children are welcome to come to worship or attend Youth Church. During the summer, worship is 10:00 a.m.

Special Services During the Year

During the month of August, we worship with other congregations in Palo Alto. Each congregation hosts one worship service. This association continues through the year, especially during Lent and Holy Week. At that time we may share our congregations, sanctuaries, and choirs for Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunrise services.
