Women Circle – Monthly Meetings

Presbyterian Women have for many years gathered monthly to study the Bible together.  This is a great time for women of all ages to gather for fellowship and sharing faith stories.

This year, the women of Covenant will embark on a new study entitled Who Is Jesus?: What a Difference a Lens Makes by Judy Yates Siker.  Each of the study’s nine lessons explores the question “Who is Jesus?” through a particular theological lens. The author explores the answers to the question through the lenses of Mark, Matthew, Luke, John, Paul, Hebrews, the non-canonical gospels, the Abrahamic Faiths, and contemporary cultural interpretations.  She notes that each of us who reads the New Testament is an interpreter of the text, and that how we interpret depends in part on who we are. Join the hundreds of thousands of thoughtful Christians who will be sharing this study together in the coming months.

Two circles meet on the second Tuesday of each month, the Morning Circle at 10:30 a.m., and the Evening Circle at 7:30 p.m.  Both circles meet at the Manse, Margaret and John Boles’ home.  We welcome returning and first-time participants in this special opportunity to study our faith.
