Time, Talent, and Gifts

Thank you for your generosity in supporting our church. Everything we do at Covenant centers around loving God and loving our neighbors near and far. All of us benefit when we experience Covenant’s loving and sacred place for worship, nourishment, friendship, and mission.

We value both your personal and financial commitments, which help us to achieve Covenant’s mission locally and around the world. Your gifts help all of us grow in our faith, our ability to serve others, and our ability to connect with new followers of Jesus Christ.

Stewardship

Annual Pledge Campaign

Covenant’s Stewardship and Finance Ministry organizes our annual Pledge Campaign, encouraging members to consider thoughtfully and prayerfully how they support Covenant’s mission “in generous and loving ministry to do God’s work in the world.”

Memorial Gifts

Many families choose to remember a loved one with gifts to Covenant’s Memorial Fund, which dedicates those gifts to a special project of interest to the family. Memorial Gifts are also received during the Christmas and Easter seasons and dedicated to specific projects identified for donors to select from.

Trust Gifts

The PC(USA) also encourages Covenant families to consider establishing a trust account in memory of a loved one or remembering the church in estate planning. For information about establishing a trust fund benefiting the church, contact the Church Treasurer.

Buildings & Grounds

One aspect of our stewardship programs rests in the care of our property, buildings, and resources, overseen by our Buildings and Grounds Moderator. Volunteers help with the seasonal work days and occasional calls for special help with repairs and replacement.

Other Ways to Give

You may also donate gifts of appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds. This is an easy and tax-smart way to support the work of the church.  Contact the Treasurer for information.

Donors aged 72 and over may  donate part of their IRA RMD (Individual Retirement Account Required Minimum Distribution).  Consult your financial or tax advisor, or the Treasurer.

Special Offerings of the PC(USA)

Covenant members are invited to participate annually in four special offerings of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

A portion of these offerings stays at Covenant for use in local mission programs.
