Why not join us?

Shake off the winter doldrums by singing or ringing your way to spring!  The Covenant Sanctuary Choir and Covenant Ringers always welcome new ringers and singers.  We’d especially like to find some basses and tenors to help the tried and true foursome in the back row of the Sanctuary Choir.  You’ll love the fun and the challenge and the music-making. We’d love to have you help us Make a Joyful Noise!

Music

Sanctuary Choir

The Covenant Sanctuary Choir, directed by Donald Dillard, sings a wide variety of great choral music, from works by contemporary and classic composers to spirituals, gospel music, and even pieces composed by our director.  Membership is open to anyone who loves to sing, and we always welcome newcomers.  The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., with a Sunday morning warm-up at 10:00 a.m.  The choir sings at regular and special services from September through mid-June.  Guest vocalist and instrumentalists often add a special dimension to our worship music.

Covenant Ringers

Covenant Ringers, our handbell choir, ring out frequently during Sunday worship and practice Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. during the school year.  The Covenant Ringers welcome new members with any amount of experience.

Special Music

Often we are treated to the talents of singers and instrumentalists, both members and guests, for seasonal special occasions and during the summer.  Our in-house musicians include youthful piano players and experienced harpists, handbell soloists, and trumpet players.  Guest musicians, especially brass players, always add a special dimension to our worship.
