Youth Connection Makes Plans
Our Middle School and Senior High Youth continue to work on completing the makeover of Room 8. We will have a blessing of the space soon. We also continue with our weekly meetings centered around Bible study, mission, service and fellowship.
In January, the youth took a “mystery trip” to Malibu Grand Prix, where they toughed out the freezing cold weather to play miniature golf. We are planning a retreat to the lighthouse at Point Montara on March 9-10, and we are working on plans for the summer. All youth who would like to participate in the Youth Connection are invited to join us. We meet most Sundays after worship in Room 8.
Youth Connection
Youth Connection, Covenant's fellowship program for youth in grades 6 through high school, meets for fellowship, crafts, games, music, snacks, and activities like planning a Christmas play or a fund raising bake sale for Haiti relief. A new youth ministry team of adults from the church - both parents and non-parents - will help Youth Connection plan outings "off campus" and other special events. Youth also participate in Sunday worship as liturgists, musicians, and in creating banners and other art to enhance the Sanctuary. For current programs, see News and Events.
