Education

Education at Covenant

Soon after Covenant moved into Fellowship Hall for worship and Sunday School, the work of growing began in the "Education Wing," the Fireside Room and classrooms that continue to house our adult and children's Sunday classes, study groups, Senior Chat, and innumerable meetings and social events.  Christian Education has always been an integral part of Covenant's church life.  To understand and grow in our faith, we must study and talk about the Bible, our Christian heritage, and the resulting imperative to share our faith and work with others in God's world and our community.  Small children know a loving environment where they learn about what faith and prayer are and even participate in bake sales to buy a goat for Heifer International or help provide disaster relief at home or abroad.  Youth study the Bible and questions about what faithfulness is and how to rely on faith in the challenging world of adolescent issues.  Adults study theological issues like forgiveness and political subjects like environmental stewardship or fair trade shopping.  To know is to grow in faith.

Volunteer Opportunities
