Adult Education and Prayer Groups

Covenant offers a number of educational and prayer opportunities. We hope these opportunities will meet a need in your life.

Adult Education

Lay leaders and outside speakers lead this time of study in the Fireside Room.   Each year the Adult Ed Committee offers a variety of education experiences for adults. Short-term elective courses include biblical-theological subjects, community and world issues, arts and personal relationships.

Senior Chat

Senior Chat sessions are held twice a month on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room. The Rev. Dona Smith-Powers brings in speakers on a wide range of issues of interest to seniors.

Prayer Chain

Pray-ers pray often for those for whom prayer is requested. The Prayer Chain has been organized by the Deacons of Covenant; volunteers are welcome.

Wednesday Book Club: Between the Lines

Gathering Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room, this Covenant book club meets to discuss books on a range of faith topics.

Men's Saturday Breakfast Group

Prayer, Study, and Fellowship are the focus of this group, which meets monthly in the Fireside Room, 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. The men take turns making breakfast.
